JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Planner is responsible for executing aspects of both the material and production planning functions to support a continuous flow of job orders and materials to the manufacturing cells.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Utilize the Syspro MRP system to plan the materials required to support the production schedule.
- Generate requisitions to purchase, and continuously monitor MRP action messages to ensure materials meet the requirement dates.
- Create and release Job Orders and Kit Lists from the MRP system and deliver to the appropriate work center.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of issues that impact material availability (lost parts, rework, scrap, engineering changes).
- Identify MRP system or other process issues and elevate to Planning Management.
- Create reports, perform more complex planning tasks, or execute special projects as assigned.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Protect the confidentiality of the companys information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.
Skills:
- Effective communications skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to identify and deliver results on time and on budget.
Other:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Extended or irregular hours may be required.
