What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Aide/Full-Time/Days position at Adira Nursing and Rehab?
Adira Nursing and Rehab is looking for Activity Assistants to provide the best quality of life and engaging daily activities to residents as a group or on an individual basis.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with planning, scheduling and implementing quality activities.
- Create and maintain relationships with residents and their families.
- Prepare activity calendars and update activity/orientation boards.
- Assist with resident's special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
- Work with volunteers and actively seek new volunteers.
- Encourage and motivate resident participation.
- Maintain accurate record keeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.
Educational requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
