Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Assess assigned suppliers for company health, core competencies and performance, to understand their ability to succeed in our plan to take care of the customer
Collaborate with all disciplines, internal & external, to provide the right solution for the customer
Ensure accuracy of PO requirements, landed product cost & supplier invoicing
Own & support material logistics plan to align with business needs
Skills and Education:
Ability to understand the financial health of an organization
Ability to assess a suppliers’ core competencies and how they support our strategic objectives
Ability to challenge effectively & communicate confidently with all levels of leadership
Grounded in lean principles, process oriented & assertive in facilitating Continuous Improvement (PDCA)
Ability to Identify & mitigate risk
Ability to problem solve
Ability to critical think
Ability to meet timelines
High School Diploma / GED
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Cain Management or a relevant Business Degree preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience
Previous experience in Microsoft Office, Email and Calendar skills
