Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as excellent typing skills.
Duties
- Accurately transcribe medical records during patient visits, ensuring all information is documented clearly and concisely.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Assist healthcare providers by recording patient history, physical examinations, and treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to input data and manage patient information efficiently.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate communication and enhance patient care.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure accurate documentation.
- Support the medical office with various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
- Experience or familiarity with medical records management and documentation processes.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to transcribe information quickly and accurately.
- Previous experience in an emergency room (ER) setting or medical office is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- College graduate preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
