Advanced Allergy & Asthma is looking for a part time Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team. Advanced Allergy & Asthma has 9 locations across Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. This is a traveling position and you will rotate between 3 & 4 offices a week. We are paying $16.00 to $20.00 /hour depending on experience and willingness to travel. Retention bonus of $500 after 6 months of employment with an additional bonus of $500 after the next 6 months of employment.
The MA/LPN will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients and for providing a positive, supportive environment for patients and other staff while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practitioners, front office and clinical staff.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting/LPN Program.
- Knowledge of a computerized practice management system.
- Ability to navigate and use computer applications.
- Displays excellent customer service skills.
- Responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, prescription refills, allergy and asthma testing, allergy injections, and other clinical duties assigned.
- Proficient in e-prescribing / Electronic Medical Record
- Follows all HIPAA protocols
- Availability to travel to satellite office locations as needed
- Will be crossed trained for front office responsibilities
- Other responsibilities as determined by the scope of the practice
