Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Advanced Care Partners, one of Inc. 5000's fastest-growing companies, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team at Advanced Care Pediatrics, a medical model childcare setting for children with special needs. You will play a vital role in delivering direct care to our individuals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities

Clinical Care:

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

Monitor vital signs and assess individuals' conditions and needs continuously.

Document care actions and individual responses to treatment in official records.

Provide personal hygiene assistance and maintain proper I&O monitoring.

Assist with feeding and nutritional needs.

Collaborate in developing and implementing individual care plans and goals.

Identify individual needs and problems, and communicate effectively with other healthcare personnel.

Reinforce individual and family education for home care.

Intervene to prevent or minimize injuries and maintain a safe environment.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding individual care and medical updates.

Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.

Maintain professional relationships with families and treat individuals with respect and dignity.

Professionalism and Development:

Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, company policies, and ethical standards.

Maintain appropriate professional credentials and pursue continual learning.

Perform duties in alignment with the company's mission and values.

Qualifications
- Current Florida LPN license.
-
Two years of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably with neonates, PICU, critical care, ventilator, tracheostomy, G-tube, monitoring, IV, and central line care.

Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.

Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray results.

Satisfactory criminal background check.
Physical Requirements:

Reliable transportation to and from the center.

Ability to stand, lift, and assist in lifting individuals in an emergency.

Good flexibility for bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.

Strong visual and hearing acuity.

Manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating small objects.

Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations.
