Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a privately owned orthopedic practice that is growing and has moved into a new state-of-the-art facility with new cutting-edge medical equipment to help serve our athletes and community.
Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has a full-time opening for a certified athletic trainer in Owensboro, Kentucky. The athletic trainer will work under the supervision of the Manager of Ancillary Services and under the direction of the supervising Sports Medicine Physician. This position will be required to work in a high school with clinic requirements based on workload of season at the school. Coverage of home events and travel required for varsity football games while communicating with athletes, parents, coaches, and Physicians. The athletic trainer will need to keep accurate documentation records of injuries and treatments. Clinical duties may include, working in our physical therapy department, cast department, physician extender, or any other various departments based on the needs, strengths, and interests of the candidate.
Wages are hourly with overtime opportunities, the rate will be based on experience. Mileage reimbursement and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, state and national license fees, state and national organization fees, liability insurance, continuing education allowance, and 401K/profit sharing.

Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Athletic Training required upon hire or related field
* ATC- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Kentucky or eligible at time of hire
*CPR certified or eligible and completed within the first 30 days of hire.
* No experience required
