Purpose: This role supports AIS’s purpose of providing technology that works for our clients and revolutionizes their business while providing service they’ll fall in love with.
Major Goals:
- Identify new ways to improve processes and continually elevate the customer experience
- Process orders and shipments in a timely manner to the correct locations
- Make sure inventory is up-to-date and that the correct people are notified about low supplies
Job Functions: The Parts and Supplies Clerk is a critical member of our core warehouse team responsible for exemplifying our culture, managing inventory and shipments, and working on orders.
Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Pull, pack and ship outgoing parts and supply shipments
- Pull parts for technicians’ stock from picking lists
- Deliver packages received for employees throughout building
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments of parts and supplies
- Stock parts and supply shelves and put away parts / toner pallets when received
- Process FedEx exceptions for shipped supply items
- Assist creating shipment labels when needed
- Scan to Docuware all packing slips, signed invoices, and anything else that needs to be stored. File them to correct location
- Maintain general cleanliness in parts / supply area
- Breakdown cardboard for recycle
- Assist creating shipment labels when needed
- Assist with other various warehouse tasks
- Process Warranty Returns to vendors
- Assist in Cycle Counting inventory, Car Stock, and Semi-Annual parts and supply physical inventory
- Other duties as assigned
