Compensation Analyst
THE ROLE
AMD’s compensation function provides strategic and operational support to the organization to ensure our employees are engaged and motivated by their rewards offerings. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting operational and administrative compensation work for the North America Compensation Consulting team.

Key responsibilities
- Create and manage the progress of compensation offers (new hires/counters, etc).
- Support the team with ad-hoc data analysis and audits.
- Support the execution of global compensation programs, including merit, promotion, long-term incentive, bonus cycles, market pricing, and compensation surveys.
- In partnership with compensation team, create and maintain documentation for major projects/programs.
- Maintain AMD global job library and associated tools and processes.
- Respond to first tier employee requests for compensation information through AskHR portal.
- Help maintain existing policies, FAQs, and other documentation/ communication on AMD’s intranet site.
Preferred experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic to intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Charts).
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- High degree of accuracy.
Academic credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
