Responsible for managing a team of Technical Program Managers with responsibility for ensuring high quality EDA software tools and solutions supporting AECG Adaptive Compute products. The team is split between those focused on release program management and solution program management, while also maintaining a spirit of collaboration between the two teams and continuous process improvement. Release program management oversees a set of 2 major releases per year and 4 update releases - along with multiple special releases according to customer need. Solution program management is responsible for ensuring high quality delivery of AECG products with a broad range of applications, diverse and complex solution stack needs, and customer personas - all the way from low-level RTL and board design to application library developers working in the AI space. Your team will be tracking 5-10 such programs simultaneously each with unique goals, PM needs and in various stages of development and exposure to customers. You will be working with hundreds of stakeholders at all levels, spread out across multiple organizations (Engineering, Marketing, Technical Support, Documentation, etc) both within and outside of AECG to drive successful roll-out of production solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hands-on technical program management, a strong understanding of FPGAs, FPGA tools, and FPGA solution stacks, experience in managing a team of program managers, and a passion for developing leaders. They will also need experience presenting to, negotiating with and influencing executive management.

Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of program manager professional experience or equivalent engineering manager experience in high technology that covers end-to-end product lifecycle, including product definition, design, development and delivery.
- Minimum 4 years managing a team of program managers
- Technical background in software and/or hardware development, preferably exposure to both
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership development and mentoring
Academic Credentials:
- Minimum BSEE, BCS or equivalent science/engineering degree; Masters is a plus
