What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative position at Advanced Orthopedic Center?
Full Time position available for a busy surgical office.
Job Duties: Answering phones promptly and making medical appointments, greeting and registering patients and ensuring that information given is accurate and and complete. Making follow up appointments. Working with clinical and billing personnel as needed. Sending messages to appropriate staff. Assisting in verifications. Checking patients out. Helping patients with questions or concerns. Faxing, and any other duties as assigned. Two office locations in close proximity.
Education, Skills and Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate. Previous medical office experience preferred, and experience with electronic health records helpful. Team player, quick learner, punctual and reliable. Must be able to multi-task. Compassionate, positive attitude. Must have a strong work ethic!
