What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Advanced Physical Medicine?
Advanced Physical Medicine is looking for a candidate to assist with patient care as well as some administravite task as well. You will work with a team that includes a MD, DPT, LPTA, MA and Clinic Case Manager. We are a multi-disciplinary office and we help care for patients who are involved in Auto Accidents, Work Injuries and/or Slip and Fall injuries.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Set-up patients on modality treatments, which may include but not limited to: Electric Stimulation(EMS), Mechanical Traction, Theraputic Ultrasound.
- Organization of patient files and records
- Scheduling Appointments / Referrals
- Answering phones
- Checking Messages
- Appointment reminders
- Maintaining the front desk/clinic
- Keeping track and Managing Patient's treatment plan
