Position: Compressor Assembly Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Macungie, PA
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled technician with mechanical ability, able to work independently and is a self-starter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild specific systems.
- Perform quality control inspections on the assemblies
- Diagnoses and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures
- System performance and ensure proper operation before installation
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
Required Qualifications:
- Mechanical Inclined
- Proven experience with assembly, repair, and rebuilding of equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanics, and component functionality
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and assembly equipment
- Tube bending experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school technical training in mechanical assemblies
- Hands-on assembly experience
- Experience in manufacturing and fabrication
- Welding and brazing experience is a plus but not necessary
