Advanced Traffic Control is a leading traffic control, pavement markings and signing contractor in the state of Iowa. As a continually growing company we are seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to add to our organization.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Pavement Marking Technician
Advanced Traffic Control performs a wide variety of pavement markings throughout the state of Iowa. Our crew members are cross trained on a variety of equipment and skills including operating paint trucks, pavement grinders and water blasters as well as performing layout work on streets and parking lots.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ability to operate manual equipment as needed
- Ability to work with crews of various sizes
- Submit daily reports of work performed
- Travel to remote job-sites
- Work irregular, long hours; some weekend work will be required to accommodate specific projects
- Be able to work in hot/humid outdoor conditions where temps can reach 100 degrees in the middle of the summer.
- Regular & prompt attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements:
License: Clean driving record and valid drivers license.
Education: High School Diploma, or GED preferred; may substitute work experience.
