Job Description
Advantage Flooring Inc. is seeking an highly motivated and motivated Account Representative with knowledge of Commercial flooring to join our team in Hanover, MD. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
Essential Duties:
·Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, as well as develop new customer relationships through cold calling
·Responsible for developing a relationship with new customers and working with them to find solutions to their problems.
·Responsible for identifying customer needs and providing solutions to their problems.
·Responsible for managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing the sale.
·Responsible for managing the sales cycle through the life cycle of a sale including closing, processing, and delivery.
·Responsible for managing the sales cycle through the entire life cycle of a product including planning, manufacturing, packaging, assembly, installation, and final delivery.
·Responsible for managing inventory of products in the warehouse.
·Assist with pricing negotiations with customers.
·Assist with inventory control.
·Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
·High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred in business or sales industry preferred. Previous experience in a similar field is preferred. A successful candidate will possess a proven track record of achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
·1 year of experience in a similar field preferred; 2 years preferred.
