We are looking for a committed teacher to complement our qualified staff of educators. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational lesson plans and activities with other teachers, according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also keeping children safe. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. The candidate will have the ability to communicate professionally throughout the day with students and teachers. They will have open mind and communicate with staff to ensure the students have a safe classroom that is a happy, fun, learning environment and workplace for all. . Paid Vacation after one year of service. Sick days and Holidays are given after successfully completing 1 month of employment in position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, caring, & loving environment throughout the day
- Prepare and present lessons & activities in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio/hands on means to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Communicate with children about topics they are learning and their interest throughout the day
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Receive and adapt teaching practices, classroom organization, & instructional practices based on feedback from directors, lead teacher, & observers.
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending classes, etc.
Skills
- Proven experience as a teacher, preferred but not required
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.90-$13.25 per hour depending on degrees, CDA credentials, years of experience, CLASS scores, including supplemental pay of $72 (biweekly) for employees working 30 hours or more each week.
