What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ship/Rec Material Handler 3rd shift position at ADVICS?
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide support to the Kitting area through the movement of material from one area to another.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect all forklifts at beginning of shift and complete necessary check lists, maintain file for future reference or inspections.
- Stage and remove materials for Kitting operators at beginning of shift and throughout shift as needed.
- Assist Kitting operators as needed to meet rush shipment deadlines
- Inspect plastic and wooden pallets. Dispose of/repair pallets as necessary
- Transport finished materials from finishing area and stage for packing area.
