We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position involves supporting healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their visits.
This position will have the medical assistant going to our different office locations on different days.
Duties
- Assist in patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs.
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and patient management.
- Skills
- Strong understanding of out patient care practices and protocols.
- Experience or knowledge in medical outpatient office care setting
- Basic life support certification is required
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience using electronic health care records
- Know of HIPAA regulations
