About the Role
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care services to pediatric patients in various settings, including critical and non-critical care venues.
- Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities, such as medication treatments and therapies, per physician order or patient-driven protocols.
- Conduct pulmonary diagnostics and interpret results to inform treatment plans.
- Operate specialized ventilators and other equipment necessary for patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
Requirements
- RCP license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Active RRT credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
- No experience required.
