AEC Living is expanding the level of care we offer and are looking to add nurses (LVNs, LPNs, and/or RNs) to our Nursing Team.

The primary functions of our Nurse are:

• Monitoring care plans
• Wound care
• Diabetic management
• Medication management
• Overall care supervision

We are looking for full- and part-time employees on the day shift (8:00am-4:30pm).

• Full-time schedule is 4-on, 2-off
• Part-time schedule is 2-on, 4-off
• On-call/PRN also available

Applicants should be:

• Knowledgeable in geriatrics
• Proficient communicators
• Proactive
• Reliable

Minimum qualifications are:

• Current, valid CA nursing license
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

Nursing positions will work at Elders Inn and Waters Edge Lodge.

Both communities are pet friendly, residents may have animals in their private apartments and dogs are walked through the building.
