We're currently seeking an Assembly Manager for a leading custom machinery manufacturing in Itasca, IL. As an Assembly Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading and overseeing the assembly of industrial automated machines, ensuring production schedules are met and machines are assembled to the highest quality standards.
Pay : $35 / hr to $43 / hr

Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED
Ideally 10 years but potentially open to 5 years of related work experience as an assembler for industrial machines or a machine builder.
3 years of experience management or supervisor experience.
Experience working for an OEM, engineered to order, or machinery manufacturer.
Hands on experience with frame assemblies, motor mechanisms, motors & shafts, and pneumatics & hydraulics.
Proficient in troubleshooting and solving assembly issues
Experience collaborating with engineering teams to ensure smooth production processes
Familiarity with quality control processes and ensuring machines meet tolerance and finish requirements
Responsibilities :
Lead and oversee the assembly of industrial automated machines.
Manage a team of 5-10 machine builders.
Ensuring production schedules are met and machines are assembled to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to interpret detailed drawings and coordinate the assembly of components such as frame assemblies, drive mechanisms, motors, and hydraulic systems.
Monitoring the efficiency and safety of the assembly processes, providing hands-on guidance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
1st Shift (6am to 2 : 30pm)
Overtime : most work til 4 : 30 pm, and half days on Saturdays (Not Mandatory)
