The Position
This position plays a vital role in managing the end-to-end legal and administrative processes for commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions across the country. You will work closely with our internal Acquisitions and Asset Management teams, legal counsel, investors, and third-party professionals to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely closings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and coordinate the execution of Purchase and Sale Agreements and related documents for commercial property transactions.
- Partner with internal departments to identify and resolve transactional issues.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and delivery of due diligence materials, and summarize findings for senior leadership and legal teams.
- Coordinate services and communications with external counsel, title companies, engineers, and surveyors.
- Address title objections, manage estoppel and consent requests, and ensure due diligence requirements are met within tight deadlines.
- Facilitate 1031 exchange processes and ensure all legal documentation is complete and compliant.
- Conduct closings, including preparing and negotiating closing documents, coordinating title and survey review, and confirming the proper distribution of funds with the Accounting team.
- Organize and maintain electronic closing files and provide support documentation to relevant departments post-closing.
- Draft letters of intent, lease amendments, and review real estate legal documents to determine rights and obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years of experience in commercial real estate closings
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
