Shift

Day: 1 charge RN, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT

Night: 1 charge RN, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT

Patient Ratios

Level 3: 1-3 per nurse (depending on acuity)

Level 2: 3-4 per nurse

Equipment: Isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, computers

EMR: Meditech, CPN

Required Skills

NRP

Experience with central lines (UAC, UVC, Broviacs, PICC, etc.)

Preferred Skills: STABLE, central line insertions

Procedures: IV starts, PICC insertions (trained clinicians)

Personality Fit: Team player, self-motivator

Certifications: RN, NRP, STABLE (preferred)

Floating: Newborn nursery
