What We Would Like You to Do
The primary role of the Mechanical Assembler is to assemble and disassemble radio and navigation units for repair. In this role, you will:
- Disassemble/reassemble radio and navigation units and prepare them for inspection and/or repairs (training provided on the job)
- Be capable of using hand assembly, test tools, and other precision measuring equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work orders promptly
- Understand work orders while asking the department lead for assistance when necessary (communication is key!)
- Perform routine and non-routine tasks dependently and independently.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and Employee Handbook
- Adhere to all AER safety guidelines, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and proper procedures of material, including hazardous materials

Compensation
$16 to $17 per hour depending on experience
Interview Process
- All initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
- Interviews can lead to multiple meetings including panel discussions.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the passing of a background check as well as a drug & alcohol testing.
- AER participates in E-Verify.
