Our compliance and risk management team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Payment Operations Specialist. 

Job Summary:

The Payment Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of Aeropay’s payment network. This role involves closely monitoring transaction activities, addressing alerts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall health and risk management of the payment system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily activity on the Aeropay payment network.
• Process requests and early warning alerts to ensure healthy transactions and effective risk management.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance tools, automate routine tasks, and address recurring issues.
• Take ownership of payment issues, working with external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support the broader Aeropay team when needed.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including company officers, directors, and managers.
• Perform other related duties to contribute to the mission of the organization.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a payment operations or related role is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
