ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Aircraft Records Analyst reports to the Supervisor Aircraft Records & Maintenance Planning and is responsible to maintain an adequate and accurate records system of maintenance and inspection work performed on aircraft operated by Aero. This individual is also responsible for data entry processes that provide information to the Maintenance Division for the purpose of compliance, maintenance planning, various reports, and trend monitoring. This position performs those duties in accordance with the company’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP), General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and other essential manuals. The ideal candidate will be extremely dead-line driven, and thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment. They will prioritize their day to accomplish as much as they can based upon need and date received. The ideal candidate must ensure that their detailed efforts are accurate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Supervisor of Aircraft Records & Maintenance Planning.
  • Responsible for the review of technical records and logistical functions in pre and post-review of aircraft and engine acquisitions.
  • Perform physical aircraft and engine surveys and records evaluations in support of due diligence efforts in maintaining regulatory compliance for the company’s aircraft records as required by 14 CFR 135 and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Perform audit of aircraft records regularly to ensure compliance with aircraft times and cycles.
  • Process maintenance records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure accuracy of component removals and replacements in the maintenance management system (Flightdocs) to include accuracy of part numbers, serial numbers, times and cycles since new, overhauled, and or repaired.
  • Manage and review the auditing of Life Limited Part Summaries, Airworthiness Directives and applicable technical and operational documentation for Company aircraft, engines, and appliances as assigned by the Supervisor of Aircraft Records and Maintenance Planning.
  • Perform validation of flight logs. Ensure the times recorded on flight logs are correct and accurately updated in the maintenance management system.
  • Act as a resource for personnel in the resolution of record-keeping issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP Maintenance/DOM or Supervisor of Aircraft Records & Maintenance Planning.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) years of aircraft records experience: i.e., administrative experience with maintaining aviation maintenance records in an airline operation or repair station.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, especially Word, Excel, Power Point and able to learn operating systems the company utilizes.
  • Proficient with Maintenance Tracking Programs such as CAMPS, Flight Docs, CMP, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand technical data (Maintenance Manual Programs, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) requirements.
  • High school diploma/GED (Associates degree or higher preferred).
  • Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
  • Must be able to work and interact with other mechanics, supervisors, and other personnel in a professional manner.
  • Must have a positive attitude towards productivity, quality of work, and safe.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written.
  • Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this position including: bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent usage of hands, wrists, shoulders, and back is necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing.
