What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning and Allocations Coordinator position at Aetrex, Inc.?
Aetrex, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Planning and Allocations Coordinator to join our Planning and Purchasing team in Teaneck, NJ.
Support functions of Planning & Buying through sales analysis, including forecasting, planning, and creating reports to make allocation decisions.Drive and/or contribute to projects resulting in improved departmental systems and efficiencies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Work with inventory planners and distribution to allocate product as it arrives based on predetermined priorities.
- Manage customer Drop Ship programs
- Prepare data for monthly planning/buying meetings. Reports include: department KPI’s, inventory on hand, customer demand, in-transit goods and seasonal trends
- Prepare weekly availability reports for sales
- Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, spanning Distribution, Accounting, Product Development, and Customer Service
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to understand, analyze and organize historical sales, inventory, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem solving and math skills
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on them
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of combined college education and work experience
- 3-5 years of planning experience or equivalent in an analytical finance, planning or business development role
- Fashion industry experience a plus
LANGUAGE AND COMPUTER SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral; Proficiency in MS Outlook with advanced Excel skill; Access a plus.
