Position Summary:
Make up to $30hr
The Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for preparing the room for the patient and providing a warm greeting for the patient. Responsible for fabricating orthodontic appliances for patients. Perform x-rays for patients and fit patients for assistive devices. Conduct oral impressions of patients.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient materials & provide excellent patient care
- Sterilize, clean, disinfect patient rooms & equipment
- Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts
- Fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances and materials for patients such as retainers, wires, or bands
- Take oral pictures of patients
- Fit patients for assistive devices & make adjustments
- Assists Orthodontist with procedures and patient care
- Digital dental diagnostic x-rays
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Promotes team cohesiveness by interacting with team members using common courtesy, active listening skills, respect, and a non-judgemental persona
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assists with other duties as assigned
