Project Engineer – Construction / Restoration
📍 Menomonee Falls, WI (on-site local jobsite travel)
Our client, a well-established restoration and construction firm in the Milwaukee area is adding a Project Engineer to its experienced construction sales and project management team. This is a hands-on role combining estimating, client interaction, and field coordination for concrete, masonry, and waterproofing projects across Wisconsin.
This is an ideal next step for a 3 year engineer who has learned the fundamentals and is ready to apply them independently.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Evaluate building issues and develop clear, solution-driven proposals
- Estimate job costs, schedules, and materials
- Negotiate contracts and coordinate subcontractors
- Schedule and manage projects with field crews
- Visit active job sites to ensure quality, safety, and timelines
- Handle project documentation and customer invoicing
What they’re looking for
- 3 years of experience in construction estimating and/or project engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred (other engineering disciplines considered)
- Exposure to concrete, masonry, restoration, or similar trades strongly preferred
- Able to explain technical issues in plain language
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable being in the field
- Local to the Milwaukee / Menomonee Falls area (45–60 mile radius), onsite role, no remote or hybrid available for this opening
- WI PE license a plus, not required
