We're looking for a Dental Assistant who is driven, patient-centric, and a brand ambassador for our practice in Avon, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of dentistry and a commitment to grow and innovate to best serve our patients. You'll be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, as well as compliantly delivering procedures and protocols.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 7:30AM - 5PM, Thursday 8AM - 5PM
Saturday: 8AM - 1PM *2 Saturdays a month
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe, comforting, and welcoming exam room atmosphere
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to treatment area, position and pass instruments and materials, suction, and expose/develop radiographic studies
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calling for repairs
- Track inventory levels, anticipate needed supplies, and verify receipt of supplies
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Diploma or certificate from an approved Dental Assistant program as accredited by CODA
- Current CT DA license, or CT DANB CDA, ICE & RHS Certifications (depending on state requirements)
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of dental office experience (Required)
