About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial “Full Cycle Account Executive” to join our growing sales team. This hybrid role is based in Clearwater, Florida.

 

This role requires a self-motivated, outbound-focused salesperson who thrives on building pipeline, owning the full sales cycle, and closing deals. While Marketing provides support, a self-starter mentality, and strong outbound prospecting skills are absolutely necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation & Outbound Sales: Proactively source and generate qualified opportunities using a mix of outbound strategies, with support from Marketing. An outbound sales mindset is a must.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the process from first outreach to signed contract, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Customer-Centric Sales Approach: Listen actively to prospects, help them identify their underlying pain points, and assist in building strong business cases that enable them to gain internal buy-in from decision-makers and economic buyers.
  • Solution Selling & Sales Methodologies: Effectively leverage GAP Selling (by Keenan) as the preferred methodology; strong MEDDPICC candidates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships, positioning Affirmative Technologies as a trusted advisor.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimize outreach strategies, deliver seamless onboarding, and ensure customer success.
  • Sales Execution & Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales quotas through effective deal execution, continuous pipeline growth, and strategic prospecting.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in sales functions, preferably in FinTech (ideally around payments or Treasury Services, but not a must).
  • Experience as a BDR/SDR is highly valued—we want someone who is comfortable with outbound prospecting and self-generating pipeline.
  • Closing experience is required, but the ability to hunt, qualify, and generate interest is even more important.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Sales Automation tools, preferably HubSpot.
  • Experience sourcing leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator and working with modern contact databases like ZoomInfo or Apollo.io.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand customer pain points and help them build business cases to drive internal buy-in.
  • Excellent listening skills—able to uncover needs beyond surface-level problems and guide customers toward the best solutions.
  • Resilient, proactive, and eager to learn—someone who is not afraid to ask for help, thrives in a collaborative team, and shows true ownership of their sales pipeline.

Compensation:

We offer competitive base pay plus commission based on experience and performance.

The base annual salary plus commission range is $200,000 to $250,000.
