Job Overview:
Affordable Assist Private Care is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide at-home assistance with daily living activities for seniors. Our caregivers are committed to delivering quality care while fostering a sense of dignity, independence, and companionship for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Provide direct, hands-on care to clients based on individualized care plans, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage clients in meaningful conversation to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to dietary requirements, assist with feeding when necessary, and encourage proper nutrition.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
- Observation and Reporting: Maintain ongoing communication with the Care Coordinator, families, and clients. Promptly report any changes in the client’s condition, needs, or environment.
- Documentation: Accurately document daily care activities, client progress, and any concerns in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and adapt to changing client needs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
