What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher position at Afterschool, Little Neck?
Our learning center in Little Neck has an opening for a part-time after school teaching assistant who is energetic with good communication skills, responsible, and love kids.
After School Tutors and Teaching Assistants
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-Must enjoy working with children between ages 5 to 13.
-Assist ELA and/or Reading & Writing using our Learning materials.
-Check student's school homework.
-NO lesson planning required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required, some college or relevant degree preferred.
- Experience working with children, experience working in an afterschool environment preferred.
- This position runs from September 2022- June 2023.
- Ability to assist ELA/Math homework from K to 8th.
- Should bring energy to the classroom and be very personable.
- Fluent in Mandarin and Korean is a plus.
In-person Schedule: Monday to Friday: 3:00pm - 6:30pm : flexible schedule to accommodate your busy schedule
