The role will involve working with senior team members to develop, maintain, and manage 3D models, drawings, and project data. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in BIM software and a passion for learning and developing their skills in BIM technology.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in the creation and management of 3D BIM models for various project types.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the proper integration of BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the development of project documentation using BIM models.
- Assist in clash detection and resolution processes.
- Conduct regular checks and updates on BIM models to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
- 2-3 years of experience in BIM, with an understanding of BIM workflows and software.
- Basic understanding of BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Familiarity with the principles of BIM execution planning and model coordination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the BIM field.
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
- Close vision (Clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision. (Clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (Ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Continuous sitting, standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, talking, bending, crouching, and working closely with others.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds via dolly) of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.
- Travel to the Companies various offices, as needed
- Travel to construction sites is not normally a requirement of this position, but may be requested from time to time, generally local by car travel only
