Our client, profitable, fast-growing B2B SaaS company, looking for a Sales Director to lead and scale its sales organization. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear path to VP of Sales as the company expands into new Midwest markets and, longer term, nationally. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys coaching teams, operating with data and process discipline, and partnering directly with a technical founding team.
Compensation: 100-120k base with OTE of 200k & equity. Flexible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Account Executives
- Own sales execution, pipeline health, and forecasting with a data-driven approach
- Drive expansion into new markets, including Illinois and Minnesota
- Refine and scale a structured, consultative sales process
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on sales strategy and growth
- Optimize and enforce CRM and sales tech usage (HubSpot)
- Initially support select deals to deeply understand the sales motion and build team credibility
Qualifications:
- 3 years of sales leadership with experience coaching high-performing sales teams
- Strong background in B2B consultative sales and longer sales cycles
- Proven ability to forecast, manage pipelines, and drive accountability using data
- Experience shaping or executing go-to-market strategy
- Comfortable leading distributed teams and scaling process
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Experience in K-12, energy, or Commercial/Industrial markets is a plus
