The Opportunity:
Provide materials to machines in production areas via forklift and overhead cranes. Load and unload trucks and scrap containers. Read, interpret, and follow drawings/routers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide materials to machines in production areas via forklift and overhead cranes.
- Load and unload trucks and scrap containers.
- Move finished parts to other areas as needed.
- Clean up area daily to ensure a safe environment.
- Work individually or in teams to complete work.
- Read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Follow all aspects of the company’s 5-S and Preventive Maintenance programs (PMs).
- Focus on Lean Manufacturing and inventory control.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: Forklift and overhead crane experience
