What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervising Pharmacist position at AG URGENT CARE, P.C.?
Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by:
· Ensure that all patients complaints are being handled courteously.
· Supervises and assumes all the duties of the pharmacist in the day-to-day activities.
· Maintain an inventory of pharmaceutical products by ordering supplies from suppliers or distributors.
· Assist pharmacist with drug ordering and inventory management activities.
· Review patient records to determine whether they are eligible for medication
· Assumes responsibility for overall operation of the outpatient and inpatient pharmacy.
Ø Ensure that all staff members are performing their jobs effectively.
· Provide training to all members on topics such as inventory control procedures and compounding drugs.
· Train staff on pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
· Oversee the training, scheduling, and supervising of all staff members.
· Establishes work schedules and assign staffs to specified work areas.
Ø Provide data analysis and report on the status of inventory levels and other pharmacy statistics.
Ø Assist in maintaining the store’s appearance by ensuring that shelves are stocked, neat, and clean.
Ø Maintain system of records and bookkeeping
Adheres to proper safety precautions and infection prevention control.
