AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join its Parts Distribution Center in Independence, MO. A Manager of the Parts Distribution Center, is responsible for directing all facility operations and developing and maintaining processes to facilitate the efficient and timely performance with the end result of providing customers with the best possible service.

The Senior Warehouse Manager will guide a team of warehouse supervisors and warehouse employees. This position is responsible for the end to end processes for the Kansas City warehouse system. These site provides direct shipments to dealers and replenishment for all North American PDC warehouses.

What you will do:

• Distribution Center functions include the receipt, processing, storing, picking, packing, shipping, as well as invoicing parts orders. This will include negotiating favorable local transportation rates with outside trucking companies; facility utilities and contracting outside facility maintenance services.
• Responsible for employee training and development, discipline, and safety, as well as any related activities as assigned by the Manager, Parts Division Operations.
• The Manager is primarily responsible for the direct supervision and training of any Warehouse Supervisors and Distribution Specialists, and responsible for the direct or indirect supervision of all warehouse employees. This responsibility may consist of up to 80% of the Manager's job duties, as he/she oversees all warehouse operations.
• Develops and implements procedures for efficient receipt, storage and shipment of materials, as well as. assure cost controls and quality production.
• Instructs and supervises the facility workforce by delegating job duties to employees as well as by reviewing their performance; provides required training to insure efficient and effective output.

What you will bring:

  Bachelor degree required or comparable studies
• At least three to five years of relevant warehouse supervision experience.
• Requires knowledge of agricultural equipment parts, machinery, and equipment, as well as applicable company operating procedures.
