Current opportunities in Adult Residential and Outpatient (Tampa) service locations.

Summary/Characteristics of Position:
The Therapist will provide client-centered counseling services to promote recovery and coping skills related to substance abuse, mental health, homelessness and/or criminal justice involvement.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Assesses referrals to establish criteria for admission
- Clinical service delivery including individual, group and family therapy sessions.
- Conducts psychosocial assessments and makes treatment recommendations.
- Develops and updates treatment plans and progress notes, as required.
- Develops discharge plans and links persons served with after care.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary case staffings.
Pre-requisite Requirements:
- Therapist positions require Masters degree in a counseling-related field- social work, counseling, psychology, etc.
- Valid Florida Driver License
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in behavioral healthcare setting
- Certified Addictions Professional (CAP)
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards.
- Ability to relate to clients from all social-economic class, race, sexual orientation and/or substance abuse/mental health problems.
Physical Requirements: Safety/Health Considerations:
- Standing, walking, carrying, stooping, speaking, and listening.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be physically capable of fully participating in Welle (crisis intervention) and CPR/First Aid training
Travel: This position does not require overnight travel.
