What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Services position at Aggieland Safari?
Aggieland Safari in Bryan, TX is looking for a part time non-exempt Park Services worker to join our team. We are located on 18075 FM 974. Our ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and hard-working.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team! This position reports to the Operations Manager and will assist in the daily operations of our park in regards to all custodial duties, light projects, minor landscaping.
Experience required:
At least 16 years of age or older.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Weekend availability required.
Current CPR/FA Certification or ability to obtain.
Experience preferred:
Proven experience in janitorial, housekeeping, and/or grounds care.
High School Diploma or GED.
Examples of Work:
Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
Restroom cleaning and restocking of supplies.
Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.

Eligible applicants must have open availability and understand that they are expected to work most weekends and holidays. AggieLand Safari is open every day from 9AM-6PM, except Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Applicants should also be able to work in all weather conditions, as the majority of the work is performed outside. The applicant should be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $8.00 - $11.00/hour.
