2nd Shift Hours: 3:00pm - 1:00am Monday - Thursday
*2nd shift receives a shift differential pay*
Position Description:
- Assist manufacturing by providing materials to and from all work centers
- Assist with manufacturing processes in the shop including but not limited to Saw, porting, honing, and polishing
Primary Objectives:
- Responsible for the inventory accuracy
- Keep manufacturing supplied with materials needed
- Responsible for quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner
- Responsible for material handling in adherence to the quality management system
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate receiving and inventory of incoming product
- Preparing components for various manufacturing steps
- Moving of WIP material throughout the facility
- Following safety procedures
- Cycle counting of product
- Inspection or parts
- Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM's, prints..etc..)
- Assisting shipping as needed
- Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
Qualifications:
- Shipping/ receiving experience in a related industry preferred.
- Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong listening and problem‐solving skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word, and excel, UPS shipper, FedEx ship.
- Strong math aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
- Good verbal and written communication skills
