Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools essential for high-quality vehicle maintenance. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening and panel replacement
- Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring all repairs meet industry standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for various repair processes
- Execute detailing tasks to enhance the appearance of vehicles post-repair
- Carry out auto glass installations and repairs as needed
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting of automotive parts and components during repairs
Experience
- Previous Collision Shop experience is mandatory
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems
- Experience with auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, soldering, assembly, and auto painting
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and customer service practices
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment
