Job Title: Order Fulfillment Lead

Reports To: Sales/Operations Manager

Job Description

The Order Fulfillment Lead reports to the Sales/Operations Manager, and is responsible for the coordination of outgoing order. The lead is responsible for pulling and organizing orders for as well as coordination of packing, shipment and loading of delivery trucks. This position works independently to complete tasks, while working as a team to communicate needs and resolve issues to complete work requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Able to guide and motivate teams and individuals to perform at their optimum level while enjoying their work and continuously developing and growing their skill sets and abilities.
  • Sets the work schedule for team members to ensure the team can meet expectations and goals. Manages schedule and adjusts as needed. Ensures the team is on time and ready to work at their start time and completes all work and activities prior to leaving for the day.
  • Responsible for assessing quality of plants and choosing plants to meet quality standards to prepare for delivery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Closely follows processes and procedures for preparing plants for delivery based on specific plant types and sizes.
  • Lead daily standup meeting at the beginning of shift to set plans and tasks for the day.
  • Reports plant quality issues to IPM/Watering Lead and Greenhouse Manager.
  • Lead will work to make up deficits on the team when team members are out or need additional training as needed.
  • Ensures the team has a Weekly Order Prepping Schedule and adheres to the schedule.
  • Ensure daily work is completed by the end of shift. Adjust schedules and lists for the nextwork day to ensure unfinished work is completed.
  • Lead will make adjustments to orders and the schedule as needed in communication with the Sales/Operations Manager.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure individuals have access to and ample training to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures the team adheres to department opening and closing checklists.
  • Ensure the team has proper equipment and supplies in their workspace.
  • Keep the workspace and work environment clean and organized.
  • Hold consistent team meetings on a set schedule.
  • Meet one-on-one with every team member and keep good notes that can be used asneeded for disciplinary processes, as well as, performance evaluations and professionaldevelopment plans.
  • Meet consistently with other Leads on a set schedule to work on special projects and as apeer group for planning, support and transparent communications across the business.
  • Build good working relationships with team members and lead team in ways that aremotivating and create a healthy, fun, hardworking environment.
  • Ensure work space is always clean and stocked for the next work shift.
  • Be consistently organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow standard operating procedures with a high level of accuracy.
  • Responsible for checking weather to prepare for work environment and weather conditions (hydrate, clothing, etc.).
  • Communicate with the team to ensure they are prepared.
  • Ensure team members are adhering to conduct policies and work expectations. Proactively speak with team members using performance management tool kit and policies and procedures for verbal warnings, written warnings, and formal improvement plans
  • Complete on-going training monthly and communicate additional training needs to upper management.
  • Ensure all outgoing orders are properly tagged, stickers, cleaned up, watering and sprayed according to Order Prep SOP’s.
  • Ensure all orders are packed according to item type, following Order Prep SOPS.
  • Proactively request supply needs and replenishment before they run too low.
  • Assist in packing delivery trucks, following packing lists, and truck packing processes and procedures - extensive lifting, stretching, bending and squatting, daily.
  • Maintain good communication and collaborative working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Able to obtain OLCC marijuana workers permit
  • Ability to work in a shared and small workspace, stand, and work on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to withstand extensive daily lifting of up to 50 lbs, stretching, bending, squatting and movement
  • Able to withstand intensive labor in an outdoor environment
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others
  • Self-starter, takes initiative as needed to follow-through and complete work
  • Follows directions and pays close attention to detail
  • Open to learning new skill sets and cross-training
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Available to work day and evening shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled
  • Able to work over-time during seasonal busy periods
  • Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including the summer heat
  • High School education or GED or other equivalency
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work site (30 minute drive from Corvallis, OR)
  • We are a sober workplace. This means, no drugs or alcohol can be in your system or consumed during your work shift, unless it is a prescription prescribed by a doctor.

The hiring process for this position includes a 2 day working interview, between Monday-Wednesday before permanent hire.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
