AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a customer service-oriented Procurement Specialist to execute procurement projects and activities, including processing requisitions and purchase orders to support the ongoing needs of the assigned operations. The Procurement Specialist will support travel, fleet, facilities, surplus items, and provide training and support on procurement systems and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Review requisitions for accuracy, process purchase orders, and ensure approvals follow the delegation of authority.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, including W-9s, COIs, MSAs, and bid requests, and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Track, collect, and manage vendor insurance certificates to ensure compliance and up-to-date documentation.
- Monitor procure-to-pay activities, resolve PO discrepancies, support billing and coding, and provide status updates to end users.
- Maintain procurement content, contracts, agreements, and rebate programs within SharePoint and internal systems.
- Provide company-wide support, training, and troubleshooting for procurement systems and purchasing programs.
- Manage vendor returns, track resolutions, and perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity.
- Support vehicle procurement processes, including approved model lists, ordering, billing coordination, warranty and recall updates, and disposal of used vehicles.
- Assist with facilities-related procurement needs, such as furniture setup and takedown and coordination of surplus items.
- Coordinate the disposition of surplus inventory, ensuring proper approvals and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Request new inventory item setups and locations while ensuring all procurement activity adheres to policy and business rules.
Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree desired.
- 2 years experience purchasing/buying business supplies and materials.
- Broad knowledge of purchasing practices, reporting and financial analysis.
- Solid technical skills with ability to learn new software and systems.
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
- Previous farming/Ag experience helpful.
- Able to work overtime and occasional travel to various office/farm locations.
