What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Maintenance Manager position at Agri Beef?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively manage planning and execution for all daily shop and yard maintenance activities
- Lead and facilitate a preventative maintenance program for all yard equipment utilizing Maintain X Software
- Manage yard equipment operation in order to ensure efficiency and safety
- Ensure yard repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently to pens, bunk pads, roads, alleys, fences, water tanks, water systems, and other yard structures/equipment utilizing Maintain X software
- Manage, lead, and develop all yard personnel to promote safety and proficiency
- Coordinate service schedules of all yard equipment utilizing Maintain X Software
- Project capital expenditures for the Yard Department
- Prepare and maintain the annual Yard Department budget
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, BQA, Agri Beef’s Animal Handling and Welfare Policy, and all other safety policies, rules, and regulations
- Ensure compliance and maintenance of environmental regulations utilizing CafoPro software
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Five or more years of maintenance or construction experience with at least two years in a supervisory or management position
