Maintenance Person
ABCD has provided services to migrant, seasonal, and local farm workers’ children as well as other urban and rural low-income families since 1946. As a non-profit provider of comprehensive child development services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, the agency serves on average over 1,200 children in nineteen rural New York State counties.

ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a fulltime Maintenance Person for our Newfane Center.
Performs simple routine repair and maintenance tasks.
Participates in center staff meeting and training sessions as required.
Perform (familiar with or willing to be trained in) routine maintenance of HVAC Systems.
Maintain the appearance of the facility and playground area including snow removal and lawn maintenance.
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with county health and sanitation codes.
Follow universal safety precautions and safe work practices, established fie/safety/disaster plans; always keep work area neat and clean including equipment.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Must be 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
