Water Well Service Technician w/Journeyman Electrical Experience

Job Description

The Water Well Service Technician will install, service, and troubleshoot pressure tanks, booster pumps, submersible pumps, turbine pumps, control panels, etc. This position will also be responsible for both well development and rehabilitation. This individual promotes safety, reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities and supports the drilling crews as needed.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations

• Install and service pump systems
• Assures safety training is current
• Maintains daily job reports
• Verifies invoice accuracy prior to invoices being sent to customers
• Checks and maintains equipment
• Crew leader while training and mentoring employees
• Issues work orders as needed
• Performs DVIR inspections as well as tailgate safety meetings
• Maintain positive relationship with clients
• Manage the work site activity
• Aware of MSDS and CEU's, and maintains JSA's
• Maintain all certifications as needed
• Train crew associates
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education)

• Must Be 21 years of age
• Have a CDL Class A or B license (or eligible to receive one)
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Be able to perform the following physical requirements much of the time
  • Vision: Must be able to see and read documents and be able to align truck in mirrors with proper distances
  • Sound Detection: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with internal and external customers
  • Strength/Mobility in hands/fingers: Must be able to twist, turn and write
  • Endurance: In standing, sitting, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing
  • Must be able to lift 65 pounds often

Must be detail orientated, organized, and capable of multitasking, managing several projects at one time, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt, take/give direction, and learn new systems and processes as needed.
