Overview:
We are seeking a forward-thinking Agronomic Technology Integration Lead to lead the advancement of digital and technical strategies within our agronomy division. This high-impact role is responsible for identifying and integrating cutting-edge technologies that drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and strengthen competitive advantage in the agriculture sector.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in agronomy, paired with leadership in digital transformation and innovation management. You will guide a team of tech professionals and partner with executive leadership to translate ambitious goals into actionable strategies and results.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Designed and executed a long-term technology roadmap focused on digital transformation in agronomy.
- Championed a culture of innovation across the division, promoting adoption of next-gen technologies that drive measurable business value.
- Evaluated and implemented disruptive technologies to enhance agronomy practices, precision ag tools, and internal operations.
- Led integration of new technologies with existing systems in collaboration with IT and operational teams.
- Modernized legacy platforms through automation, data optimization, and scalable infrastructure development.
- Ensured seamless application of technology across agronomy operations, from product development to grower engagement.
- Worked closely with teams in agronomy, marketing, finance, and operations to align technology initiatives with business needs.
- Acted as a liaison between agronomy professionals and technical developers to ensure solution effectiveness and usability.
- Built and managed a high-performing team of technologists, trainers, and innovators.

What We're Looking For:
- Agronomy Expertise (Required): Proven understanding of agronomic practices, crop input technologies, and agricultural business operations.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 10 years in a technology-driven role, with 5 years leading cross-functional teams or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Digital Transformation Background: Experience driving innovation strategies that delivered operational improvement, customer engagement, or product enhancement.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to create and execute vision-driven plans that align with business and agronomic objectives.
- Excellent Communicator: Skilled in translating complex technical ideas into business-focused results for executive stakeholders and agronomy professionals.
- Technologically Fluent: Familiarity with agtech platforms, software development, systems integration, and data analytics within the agriculture industry.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Ag Systems Technology, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
- Able to work onsite full-time in Indianapolis, Indiana (not a remote or hybrid position)
