Overview
Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting. This position participates in quality patient care delivery, efficient patient flow and effective communication with the health care team. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
Qualifications
Certification (CNA), or
6 mos. previous Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant experience and/or completion of the first quarter of an RN or LVN nursing education program.
Current C.N.A. certification preferred.
