If end date is listed, the posting will come down at 12:00 am on that date: About The Position The Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating duties associated with gas and electric operations, including acting as a liaison between front line supervisors and other company departments and support groups within the organization. Key responsibilities include: · Partner with field safety professionals and corporate safety representatives to select appropriate and timely safety topics for discussion at daily and weekly safety meetings. · Collaborate with supervision to plan, develop agenda and facilitate quarterly safety meetings. · Collaborate with safety committee to plan, create agenda and support safety committee lead during meetings · Collaborate with corporate safety representatives to track department-specific long-term safety statistics; select, seek approval & procure awards as applicable · Assist dept supervision with reliability and compliance due date tracking. · Manage requisitions and purchase orders pertaining to all dept-specific O&M materials and services · Work with suppliers to ensure most cost effective, timely and diverse spend in procuring O&M materials for department. · Address Building Services, Engineering, Fleet or Stores matters that impact operations. · Facilitate, coordinate the logistics and schedule department specific training (e.g., apprentice training, compliance training). · Support department engineering with procedures & procedure verification that impact operations. · Prepare information for department specific review of policies, procedures and one-on-one reviews. · Expected to attend department budget meetings and stay current on all accounting changes. · Assist Operations Supervision as needed. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Two or more years of electric or gas operations experience preferred. Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Basic computer proficiency required. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred. Proficiency with specific Ameren systems (e.g. TRIS, DOJM, WPS, OAS, ACO, EMPRV, GCS, CDIS) also preferred.
